The Free New Mexico (FNM) Party’s State Central Committee (SCC) called a meeting to order at 7:11 PM on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Present at the call to order were the Chair, Vice Chair/Secretary, Treasurer, Communications Director, Outreach Director, and Legislative Director.
The agenda was:
1. Treasurer’s report
2. Approve recent proposed minutes
3. Discuss additional donation to Austin Martin’s federal legal expenses
4. Update from Chair
5. Any other issues raised by the Board
The Treasurer reported on $704.44 in checking, $26.79 in savings, and $11,379.43 in the federal accounts. Recent expenses came from the donation to Austin Martin and web hosting. He also reported on several upcoming finance reports and said he was on top of them.
Then, the Chair moved to approve the proposed minutes from the September 1, 2026 meeting. That motion passed with no discussion or objections.
For discussion of the situation with Austin Martin’s federal legal expenses, the Vice Chair moved to enter into a committee of the whole. That motion passed without discussion or objections. The SCC moved into the Committee of the Whole at 7:25, and returned at 8:45 PM.
There were no further motions forthcoming, and the Chair moved to adjourn. That motion passed without discussion or objection, and the meeting adjourned at 8:47 PM.
