The Free New Mexico (FNM) Party State Central Committee (SCC) called a meeting to order at 7:26 PM on Thursday, April 25, 2024. The members present at the call to order were the Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Affiliate Director, Communications Director, and Fundraising Director.
The agenda was to discuss requirements and messaging to potential out-of-state National Delegates and Alternates and to elect a slate of each.
The Chair began by explaining the purpose of the meeting.
The Vice Chair moved to suspend Article 9, section 1 as allowed by the bylaws amendment passed at convention to elect Stephen Honeywell, Sebastian Sphinx, Ethan Mathis, Steven Hoffman, and Brian Peotter as Delegates provided that they meet the requirements of that bylaw amendment. During the discussion, questions from the SCC were answered and Kat McElroy, who assisted in finding the volunteers provided some information about the candidates.
After discussion concluded, a voice vote was held and the motion passed with six votes in favor and none opposed.
The Vice Chair then moved to suspend Article 9, section 1 as allowed by the bylaws amendment passed at convention to elect Skyler Welch, Renee Teuscher, Noah Kerby, TinaMarie Holland, Nikhil Sureshkumar, Ryan Roland, Mike Doyle, Tanner Tate, Jonathan Alvey, Dave Casey, Sylvia Arrowwood, and Chase Crum as Alternates, provided that they meet the requirements of that bylaw amendment.
After discussion, a voice vote was held and the motion passed with six votes in favor and none opposed.
The Chair then introduced a topic regarding some communications from outside the party. After discussion, no motion was immediately forthcoming.
The Chair then moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed without objection, and the meeting adjourned at 8:01 PM.
