The Free New Mexico (FNM) Party State Central Committee (SCC) called a meeting to order at 7:02 PM on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Present at the call to order were the Chair, Vice Chair/Secretary, Treasurer, Affiliate Director, Campaigns Director, Communications Director, and Legislative Director.
The agenda for the meeting was:
1) Motions and discussion regarding LNC situation
Before moving onto the main agenda item, the Chair introduced Ryan Penfold, who talked for a few minutes about the possibility of advertising and/or producing shows/podcasts. The Communications Director moved to allocate $400 for the purpose of advertising the Party to New Mexicans, but after some discussion, offered to table this motion until the Board had the opportunity to look over some of Ryan’s work. The motion to table passed unanimously.
At this point, the Fundraising Director joined the meeting.
The Secretary then explained what he had learned about how to get questions about proper uses of federal funds. There was some additional discussion.
The Chair explained that the funding of the Kennedy Victory Fund was expected to continue through June 2025.
The Chair then moved to pay signature gatherers from federal funds, amounting to a total of $2730. After some discussion, there was a roll call vote, which passed unanimously.
There were some further discussions regarding the legislative session.
Then, the Chair moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed without objection and the meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM.
