The Free New Mexico (FNM) Party State Central Committee (SCC) called a meeting to order at 7:15 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Present at the call to order were the Chair, Vice Chair/Secretary, Treasurer, Affiliate Director, Outreach Director, and Legislative Director.
The agenda was:
- Treasurer’s Report
- Approve proposed minutes from previous meeting
- Discussion of motion from Outreach Director re: payment from the LNC
The Treasurer reported on current bank balances and recent account activity. There were no questions from the attendees.
The Chair then moved to accept the proposed minutes from the previous meeting. After some discussion, the motion passed without objections.
Next was a report from the Chair about progress on the legal action with the LNC. There was some discussion about the LNC helping with the lawsuit, and some questions about who will be working on the lawsuit. There was also some discussion about funding a pro hac vice lawyer for the suit in New Mexico.
The Outreach Director raised some questions about absences to the official meetings. After some discussion, the issue was tabled.
The Chair moved to adjourn. The motion passed without discussion or objections. The meeting adjourned at 8:02 PM.
