The Free New Mexico (FNM) Party State Central Committee (SCC) called a meeting to order at 7:18 PM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Present at the call to order were the Chair, Vice Chair/Secretary, Affiliate Director, Outreach Director, and Fundraising Director.
The agenda was:
1) Treasurer’s Report
2) Approve recent Proposed Minutes
3) Discuss transferring recently renewed web domains
4) Legal update
5) Any other issues brought up by the board
The Treasurer was not present, so the report was skipped.
The Chair moved to approve the proposed minutes from the last meeting. That motion passed with no discussion or objections.
The Legislative Director joined the meeting.
The SCC discussed the anticipated costs to transfer the two domains to our web hosting service. The eventual conclusion was to leave the matter until the Treasurer was available to consult about funding availability.
The Chair then gave an update on the legal actions being taken toward the Secretary of State of New Mexico. The possibility of crowdfunding donations for legal costs was raised, but the final decision was to leave that until the action has started.
There was some discussion about website functionality, especially with regards to donations.
The Communications Director joined the meeting.
The Outreach Director reminded the SCC of the forum being held on October 14 for the Socorro School Board and the Fundraising Director’s candidacy.
The Fundraising Director asked about unfilled positions on the SCC and whether anything could be done to make it easier to achieve quorum. After some discussion, no motions were forthcoming.
The Chair moved to adjourn, and the motion passed without discussion or objections. The SCC meeting ended at 8:05 PM.
